What Can I Expect?

1. What do people wear?

You’ll see a mixture. There will be many people dressed casually and some a little more dressed up. We think you should dress in the way that makes you comfortable. After all, we’re concerned about what’s in your heart, not what hangs from your shoulders.

2. How long is the service?

Our morning service begins at 10:45 a.m. and lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes.

3. Where should I go once I get here?

a. If you arrive for the Bible Study hour (9:30 a.m.) go to the Welcome Center. It’s located on the ground level at the covered entrance to Building F, in the north parking lot (beside the playground). Volunteers will greet you and take you to the right class.

b. If you arrive for the worship hour (10:45 a.m.), go to the Sanctuary.

4. Where should I take my preschoolers and children?

Whether you arrive at 9:30 or 10:30, someone will be available at the Welcome Center to greet you and escort you and your preschoolers and children to the appropriate Sunday School Class, Worship Option, or preschool room where trained volunteers will welcome, teach and care for them.

5. What is the worship service like?

We plan our services to be relevant, enjoyable and helpful. There will be a meaningful time for prayer; we’ll sing contemporary songs as well as some of the great hymns of the past; and, we’ll sometimes use drama and media to communicate the timeless truths of God. And there will be a message from the Bible about how we can live better lives.
