Children's Ministry

Preteens Grades 5 & 6

“Under Construction” describes our developing Preteen Ministry for fifth and sixth graders here at First Baptist Smyrna.

Understanding that fifth and sixth graders are sometimes caught in-between, we’re planning a new Preteen Ministry Department that will address their unique challenges and creativity. Currently, these needs are addressed in the age-graded activities as described on our Children’s Ministry page. Please check back for updates on our progress!

Summer Camps: Relationships with God and friends are made, refreshed and deepened as our children who have completed third through sixth grade enjoy fun, fellowship and faith building activities at an overnight camp one week during the summer. The great outdoors — with activities including swimming, zip line, hiking, canoeing, rock slide, hayride and bonfires — enhance this time away in worship and play. Click here for registration forms
